English as a Second Language (ESL)

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are a ministry of Vineyard Columbus. We are dedicated to equipping refugees and immigrants with quality English education through volunteer-led classes. We provide six different levels of instruction during the fall and spring sessions, with a more relaxed conversation program in the summer.



Classes are currently full for our Fall 2025 semester.
Registration dates and class dates for our upcoming Winter 2026 semester are below.


DayTime program
Monday, Wednesday, Friday | January 7 - May 1, 2026 | 10am – 11:30am | Vineyard Community Center

Registration will be on Monday, January 5th from 10 AM - 11 AM. We will only accept new students at this registration and will not be testing new students any other morning.

• Classes are free, and workbooks cost $20 cash.
• Childcare is not provided. ?

Evening program
Tuesdays | January 13 - April 28, 2026 | 7pm – 8:30pm | Vineyard Community Center

Registration will be on Tuesday, January 6th from 7 PM - 8 PM. We will only accept new students at this registration and will not be testing new students any other evening.

• Classes are free, and workbooks cost $20 cash.
• Childcare is provided.

If you live outside the zip code areas, we can serve you once. If you live in the zip code areas and/or are a member/attender of our church, you may access our pantries monthly. Due to limited space, there will be no indoor shopping, and shoppers will have access to an online food ordering system. Guests will need a unique Shopper ID and PIN to access the online food ordering system. Please send your name, address, and date of birth to community.outreach@vineyardcolumbus.org get your account information.

Guests are welcome to place online food orders to be picked up during our food pantry hours:
